...at least it's more splashable than Pillage? Nonetheless..most land destruction decks run enough red that they can deals with the RR or are fast enough at destroying lands they don't need to worry about their opponent casting artifacts.

People are totally missing the fact that this can kill Steel Overseer and Sword of Vengeance and stuff. And Celestial Collonade.
We are never getting back Pillage, WOTC is never making that mistake again.

if there was ever any doubt that wotc doesn't want to seriously support land destruction--honestly, if you have to wait until turn four to destroy their land, you better hope they're playing only high-cost spells.
