This cycle of cards is so awesome! So is this guy, reminds me of Deathspore Thallid, and his art is so epic just like.

All kidding aside he is very powerful a 4/4 for 5 in black is alright (almost like a 5/5 if needed) and the -4/-4, not a lot of creatures survive that.

A keystone to the original Rock deck, featuring plenty of card advantages via Yavimaya Elder and Deranged Hermit. All mana creatures turn into creature killers with this card.

I run two of these in my sacrifice deck, and I get them out as soon as possible. This and any kind of creature generator or recurring creature have dug me out of some very deep holes.
