for 4 mana you get a 2/2 creature and 2 damage to opponent, which is nothing special but could solid. 3/5.

Sick in Limited as a conditional built-in 2-for-1, but that's about it.

Awesome in the Coalition deck. Target your opponent's Phyrexian Negator or Order of Yawgmoth, then smash his or her Puppet Strings or Whispersilk Cloak.

Out of the three battlemages in the Coalition deck, this guy is the best.
