All equipments are artifacts, so that would be redundant.

...Why? Seems like it would've been a ton more useful, and more flavorful, if its ETB ability was destroy target artifact creature. It eats the freaken myr that wandered into its web! how does a sword of body and mind just get tossed up into some spider's web???

Seriously, and giving it that ability, for 5 (slightly color intensive) mana wouldn't have completely busted the game into pieces, would've made it an uncommon I don't GROAN to see in my boosters, and in limited it would've been a higher pick. THAT'S ALL.

AND ANOTHER THING, I DON'T GET HOW THE FLAVOR TEXT IS WORDED :@ It seems like any adjective but "found" would have sounded better

Sigh... 2/5, just because it is pretty decent in limited, although I don't get to play limited much.

@Majinara: why the hell would anyone play spider tribal in constructed?
@R&D: would this card be overpowered if it could destroy any artifact? Like, I don't remember Oxidda Scrapmelter or even Indrik Stomphowler having an unfair power level.

indrik stomphowler I like, this card I like not. It's alright in limited, but unplayable in constructed except in someones spiders tribal deck or something. 1.5/5

Another crappy spider... come on wizards will it kill you to make one decent spider? They had the opportunity to give infect! We need another great card like Deadly Recluse!

That could be really helpful to equipments that are very annoying like argentum armor or batterskull
