I don't know if I love the reconceived Mirrodin goblins, style-wise. They look like a bunch of gulper eels. I suppose it does make them a bit more unique...
Art aside, I really like this card. The name reference to Spikeshot Goblin was enough to make me grin, but the referential flavour text is like Vorthosian gold!

This guy is the surprise finisher in my Infinite Hourglass deck. While most people are expecting another Fling or Soul's Fire, this guy drops and provides his own reusable version of Soul's Fire right away.
Great card. Love the implied plot from the flavor text on him and Spikeshot Goblin.

It's probably coincidence given that one comes from Mirrodin and the other from Future Sight, but I looked back and forth between this and Bloodshot Trainee and wondered if there were other "____shot" tribes of the Mirrodin goblins. (If so, I suspect we're happier not knowing what they shoot.)

Grafted Exoskeleton at the prerelease. The guy drew both cards both games. Hurts ma butt...
Past trauma aside, it's a nice addition to RDW that lets it survive longer with better board presence, along with Koth and maybe Molten-Tail Masticore
