He can be used as a token. A lot of cards make 1/1 White Soldier tokens.

It's a shame. That guy is giving his best, yet he will never see play (except, perhaps, in starter boxes)

The most basic creature you could possibly imagine...Starter boxes are the only place where he will be played.
