I have won many Unlimited games (non-tournaments) against my friends with this card in a white/black deck. Damage everyone (black) and heal yourself. Great way to nuke your friends.

@PestilenceFiend: And white's good for sporting creatures with Protection from Black, so your creatures are immune. My CDC deck is centered around this gem. Only drawback is that each point of damage is a separate activation, so CoP: Black gets expensive.

Of course, there's always Sphere of Grace, but it's a little more expensive at the outset.

A classic card. The art is creepy, but you know, it's pestilence.

Best used when you can ensure that a creature will be sticking around, so you can smack your opponent down. I miss suicide black.
