I agree OMFGrhombus, the new cart frame fits gorgeously with Mirari's art. Other than that, it's just good old Mirari, still as incredible as ever.

Agreed with all before me. One of those cases where I think the border shift was a good idea.

I like that they put this great card in the same package as Isochron Scepter. Five mana might seem a bit intensive to copy whatever card is imprinted on the Scepter... but something about doing that feels so awesome. :D

@Guest1661376406 : Since you don't actually cast the spell again, you don't need to pay any costs, mana or otherwise. If you copy a kicked spell, you'll get a kicked copy. If you copy an X spell, you get the same value of X on your copy.

@Darth Parallax: First of all, i agree with you in why the artifact should be mythic, but you do have some details wrong. First of all the Mirari was attached to the hilt of Kamahl's sword, it didn't transform into one. Secondly, the Mirari has nothing to do with the legacy, unless you count being made by Karn as part of it, which i certainly don't. The Mirari was a defective probe sent to Dominaria to gather inspiration for the creation and population of Argentum, later known as Mirrodin.

Aside from minor details most people couldn't care more about, you are right in that this artifact has been part of three blocks, and is about as mythic as they come. Personally, I wish it was a bit stronger, but at least it is functional and flavorful, as it amplifies spells just like it did in the books.

@Guest1661376406:
You copy the effect, not the cost.
As you have already paid the cost of Fling initially, you just pay 3 from Mirari to copy it and then play it.

@CruentusPurgare

No. The ability is a triggered one, which allows you to pay 3 to copy a spell when it is cast. When a spell is copied it is not cast again, so the Mirari's ability will not trigger again.
