The mom in the picture is saying, "Son, I moonlight as a Krosan Restorer, so please sac your Voodoo Doll, because we're going to get threshold one way or another..."

"Well hey, this isn't as bad as the time our neighbor's pet Mungha Wurms escaped, amirite?"

And I can't find a way to put a Mana Cache into this narrative, but yeah, that's a deck.

(edit: I'm not using a voodoo doll, yikes)

Winter Orb?
Posted By: Request (7/28/2010 8:44:21 PM)

This is not just a more expensive version of Winter Orb. It can't be shut down by tapping it, which can be a disadvantage if you plan on abusing that card with something like Icy Manipulator. However, this DOES combo with Eon Hub for a total land shutdown, while Winter Orb does not...

also, you'll have trouble playing this in your stompy deck, and it won't protect you from wraths.

Paradox Haze for advantage

Neat with Paradox Haze and neater still with Pendrell Mists. Because they're your triggers you can stack it so they actually can't pay the mana; making this a much more effective lock than Winter Orb. What's more? These stack; so you can have multiples to untap multiple lands while other players can *never* hit you with a non-haste creature if you don't want them to. Kill them at your leisure.

Winter Orb is better in some scenarios; mostly those that involve getting the game slowed down sooner. This is better at locking the game with less pieces and is far more abusable with other enchants (including redundant copies of itself.)

Use next to a baby-jace for an affordable ($) and on curve way to card advantage town; which I hear good things about.
