Works great with any artifact sac ability. I'd love to hijack a Wurmcoil Engine with this and then Kuldotha Rebirth it second main. Also, somewhere in the prerelease, people are going to win by hijacking Blightsteel, and that makes me smile.

I like how they print cards like this occasionally with art that suggests a bad use for it. Stealing a ratchet bomb basically gives the opponent their choice of having it go off for X counters or X+1 counters this turn.

As mentioned, combine with Bazaar Trader to keep the artifact for good. Though for that deck you'll mostly want to go for noncreature artifacts with this because Act of Treason exists.

Limited tactic: Remember that if necessary, you can use this on your own artifact just to untap it, if one more activation can win you the game in s... (see all)

This card (and additionally Dominus of Fealty) bear testament to a simple truth: giving non-creature permanents haste is funny.

Pretty sweet artistic direction for this set; taking familiar Mirran imagery and twisting it into something evil.

In this case; Ratchet Bomb.

Did your opponent cast a Blightsteel Colossus and is threatening to obliterate you next turn?
Use this or Act of Treason to make them cry as they suffer defeat from their own game-ending creature.

Aside from that, it's a fairly mediocre card. Most of the non-creature artifacts you could steal with this would not make too much of a difference in the one turn you control them - unless you can steal an opponent's artifact with charge counters on them and use them up for your purposes. But in the end, it would just end up being used on artifact creatures most of the time.

Who is Urabrask the Hidden? Why is he Red? Why is he Phyrexian? Is this card foreshadowing something for the new set? When did Wizards mention Glissa was coming back as a Nazi sympathizer?

I think with Liquimetal Coating and Bazaar Trader this is going to cause a few headaches

Been there, done that. I've already stolen someone's Kuldotha Forgemaster to poop out my Steel Hellkite and make it rape face. With Act of Treason.

This, Liquimetal Coating and Bazaar Trader, as it's been mentioned, is a pretty cheap way to gain control of any permanent your opponent controls. I'm considering the Bazaar but I love the idea of taking control of something, using its ability then sacrificing it like a *** to any of the crazy sacrifice artifact red cards. I especially want to take control of a planeswalker.
