I will defend this card with my life... argument wise obviously, since I would prefer to block with this guy than lose actual life.

Runed Servitor hasn't been mentioned, so I'll be that guy. A 2/2 for 
with a perk of drawing versus a 1/1 that the only real purpose of is to draw. If your foe draws one from it, they're also much more likely to block the Servitor, whereas many people will take hits from a 1/1 that you'd prefer to lose anyway. That, and if you're running mil, having your foe draw more is all the nicer.

You sacrifice Oculus, putting scry 1 onto the stack.
Oculus hits the graveyard, triggering the draw one ability, putting that on the stack.
Draw, then scry 1.

this is perfect for limited though, if you're up against infect its just trade after trade and I could see this helping get an edge.

Definitely good in Limited. I got three of these on the pre-release, and the card draw helped me getting an edge. I did get a couple vivisections, too bad that one isn't an instant...
