Good to know that this guy is inferior to Surveilling Sprite, will totally use that knowledge during deck construction (will never consider either for deck consideration, ultimately worthless knowledge).
In draft...this is the kind of card I watch for after the 8th pick as a signal that Blue is open. Solid card, just not early-pick worthy.
Also, thanks for pointing out the combo with Vivisection. I'm sure the subtleties would have escaped me otherwise.

I'm disappointed by how close this is to being good. If it had been playable on turn one, it would be a nice start to a defensive setup. As printed it just makes me unhappy to see it in a pack.

Rules question: if you target this guy with Viscera Seer, whose ability triggers first?

I like it. A chump blocker that replaces itself.

EDIT: And with Viscera Seer, I believe that you choose the order that the abilities go on the stack, but I could be wrong.
EDIT 2: I was wrong, sorry about that.

The Raymond Swanland is strong with this one!

(I mistook the art for his, so he must be doing something right!)

Was playing casual Grixis Heartless Summoning. Had the Enchantment out with Sheoldred. This was in my graveyard. It basically because, "at the beginning of your upkeep, draw a card."

In another deck, I had the imprinted on a Mimic Vat. Needless to say, having 1 toughness mean this thing is dying all the time.

"When" it's put into the graveyard? Makes it sound inevitable
