This is a good target for Postmortem Lunge in artifact dredge. As is Myr Superion. Immolating Souleater fits the theme and all three creatures are great Fling targets.

Out of the 74 cards with the Construct subtype, this is the only one that isn't an artifact. Welp. Also, this rating seems too low to me. I can see myself making a red artifact sacrificing deck with this and stuff like Atog, Arcbound Ravager, and Ferrovore to sacrifice the Wellsprings. The fact that this guy can't get the counters from a dying Arcbound Ravager is fixed by Mycosynth Lattice. It also allows you to sac your lands for a game-winning swing (sadly, it won't make the lands benefit Slag Fiend from the graveyard). It'd be nice for casual at least.

If this were an artifact, he would have to cost 1Phyrexian Red instead of just Phyrexian Red.
