So, Vorthos was responsible for the wording in the Alpha Design Team?
Because he obviously had his hands on that one.

Old school card is old-school. I kinda wish they still did stuff like this, but given how much everyone BAWWWed over Obsidian Fireheart's reminder text, it may be best they don't.

The wording on this is magnificent. "During your upkeep, new heads can be grown for RRR apiece." Really?

Pay R to prevent 1 damage, good against wither and deathtouch.

Um. Braid of Fire + Paradox Haze.
Cool, with 4 paradox hazes, I get 5 upkeeps.
Assuming Braid got played the same turn all my Hazes got out, upkeep one, +1 Red, Upkeep 2, +2 red, Upkeep 3, +3 red, upkeep 4, +4 red, upkeep 5, +5 red. 15 red mana = 5 heads :O
Ohwait, I just Doubling Season.
Again, 4 paradox hazes, 4 doublings, and ONE braid of fire. upkeep one, +16 red, upkeep 2, +32 red, upkeep 3, +48 red, upkeep 4, + 66 red, upkeep 5, +82 red. Altogether that is 244 red. And since paying for that head is adding a counter, you add that many counters instead. 244 red mana = 1296 heads and one leftover red mana :O
That's really cool yknow? Also, cool, Fate Transfer to Molten Hydra, to kill enemy.
