I started to get a little excited thinking I was going to see a new Wall of Razors ... nope, not nearly as cool.

The foolish try to leap through the unlit spaces.
The arrogant believe the fires harmless.
The wise find a different door.
The smart use Wall of Razors

@Han***y - Seeing as Razors isn't standard-legal, it's a moot point. But...
Funnier people kill it with Spawning Breath. Either that...or their opponent.

@mflanaga: Totally did that at the prerelease. Quite a bit of fun.

Seems to be about on par with Cinder Wall, granted, Cinder Wall -is- cheaper. But, I guess the Torches do die pretty easily in comparison. Still, I rather like it for some reason.

Like Wall of Razors, only stupid. Nice flavor text and art though.

Simply due to the fact that a previous card was better does not negate a card's usefulness. Shock is not a bad card because Lightning Bolt is better. And this card has some hidden uses, especially during drafts. This is part of the reason they reprinted Fling. This card really helped me out during a draft, combined with Fling, Titanic Growth, Reclaim, and Elixir of Immortality. A pretty awesome repeatable damage combo using only commons and one uncommon. Honestly, if you don't like a card, point out its faults rather than simply point at a better card. I don't deny that Baneslayer Angel is a stupidly effective card, but I also don't say that Serra Angel was a bad card because Baneslayer Angel exists.
