I just realized something quite evil you can do with this is master transmute this card every turn and rearrange the cards so that your opponent never gets his/her best card.

50% of the game is having a winning strategy. The other half is crippling your opponent's. In bouncer decks, this card has the potential to do exactly that. On top of that, you could also use it as a pseudo-scry for yourself to get your winning cards out, or cycle it for something else. 3.5

I thought this was a fine addition to the Archenemy deck.

Maybe thats because I installed Mirrorworks in that deck already, which makes that deck absurd (Especially with a Spine of Ish Sah)

These guys are just amongst cards that are fun to spin in and out. They help when they come out, and can cycle to draw what they found. Make great fodder for a Kuldotha Forgemaster to get out Transmuter faster. Which is what really wins in that deck, how fast can you get the Transmuter?

or you could invest in cards that actually kill your opponent...

I agree with allmighty_abacus. In my archenemy deck this one was pretty much the first to get cut, along with march of the machines (which happens to make lightning greaves useless and outright kills everflowing chalice)
