White producing borderposts > non-white producing borderposts
reason: Armageddon / Balance
I'm pretty sure you could make such a case for each color, rendering the point moot.

black producing borderposts > non-black producing borderposts

Early game its like a bad artifact land so you don't get mana screwed. In multiplayer games it can be accel after turn 3.. It's not amazing, but a balanced card.

Turn one, play Forest, play this, forest back to hand
Turn two, play Forest, play Blighted Agent
turn three, play Forest, play Ana Sanctuary
Turn four, play Forest Titanic Growth, Sheltering Word attack and win
Pretty decent card, if you ask me...though could be better. 3.5/5

Why is this rated so low? For starters, it's a dual land whose only real requirement is that you have a basic land in play or in your hand (which is a perfectly reasonable requirement in many formats). If that were all, maybe it would deserve a rating this low. But the borderpost
- Can be used as an overcosted Rampant Growth instead of being played "as a land drop", offering the option for mana accel.
- Counts as an artifact, to pump up Master of Etherium fast or act as an easy enabler for Master Transmuter.
- Is both a blue and black permanent. Bloom Tender anyone?
Turn 1: Forest, bounce for Fieldmist Borderpost
Turn 2: Forest, Bloom Tender
Turn 3: Bounce Forest for Veinfire Borderpost and replay. Now find something to do with your 7 mana, which includes all 5 colors.
- Can be cheated into play with Etherium Sculptor, like a free land drop.
- En... (see all)

Excellent for providing some 'free' devotion.
