@RobinHood3000: but that's what they're doing with so many other cards. 5/5 Dragon tokens with flying, or tokens for Dragon Broodmother. Or how about the Golem token for use with Stone Idol Trap?
Anyway, I don't really care if they print tokens or not. It seems like a waste of cardboard if you ask me, unless people are actually buying boosters to get sufficient amounts of a specific token card. I still use glass beads, and dices to keep track of tokens, as they require a lot less space. But if Wizards intend to keep on producing token cards, then I agree with A3Kitsune on the point that they should make new tokens for old reprints that don't have them yet. By the way, A3Kitsune, they might have made those tokens once. I think I might have seen them somewhere, but I could be mistaken.
On topic (discussing the card), it's pretty decent at what it does. It's Rakdos, so having 0 cards in hand shouldn't really be a problem (that's the theory at le... (see all)

There's absolutely nothing wrong with proxied tokens. If you don't have the resources to do it, find a friend that does.

Has WotC printed any 2/1 red Goblin creature tokens with haste? Perhaps whenever they reprint tokenmakers in a special deck, they should check first to see if the tokens it makes exist.

A bear with abilities that matches the guild. Discard allow you to use madness/threshold/hellbent abilities while killing small creature. Producing goblins allow you to sacrifice it for other purposes and given enough mana late game you can make more.
But without a doubt the cost to activate is too high. Should've shrink the mana cost by 1 on both abilities. As it is right now it's mediocre.
3.5/5

@A3Kitsune: Does it really matter? It's not like they're going to stick around for long, anyway, in the majority of gameplay situations. Seems a waste of card stock to print a whole mess of tokens for the one card that uses them.

Nikki Minaj called, she wants her makeup back.
This card is only worth it because it's a 2-drop 2/2 zombie, and therefore good for zombie decks. The effects suck, but in a pinch i suppose they could be useful.

Really? People complaining that a 2/2 for CMC2, with 2 (TWO!) revelant abilities, is bad?
Do you really want the abilities to cost less? Really? Repeteable removal and/or creature that can attack without fear to lose them for 4 each are bad? Really?
If you didn't noticed it, you can play the token ability at the end of the opponent's turn, and the Goblin wouldn't leave the Field until your next end step. So you can untap and attack with it and have mana open to plat the black ability in case, or to put another token into play and attack with 2 tokens!
This card deserves at least a 4/5...
However, I proxied tokens for Call the Skybreaker (the original are too ugly and didn't own them) and Urza's Factory. I used Magic Set Editor, went to print them in a shop and glued them in common Magic cards that I have more than enough! Then, I put them in unused or broken sleeves to keep then nice. Since you can choose the art to put on them, you can do th... (see all)

At first look it can be 'meh', but utility wise, this card has some good design. Cast it in the early game, and this can be a 2/2 attacker for 2 mana. Cast it in the late game, and it has two nice abilities that can keep it relevant when battling fatties.
My fav part of the card is the first ability, as repeatable removal is always useful. It gets around indestructible too, which is a nice bonus.
