Any card that gives haste to your creatures, such as Fires of Yavimaya, will boost the Moa tremendously, given that you could attack the turn in comes into play for 2G, and add two +1/+1 counters to other creatures.

Simple, use this card with Enduring Renewal - First turn having it, play it, put 1/1 on creature x, next turn don't play its echo put 1/1 on x, when it's returned to your hand play it, put 1/1 on x, repeat! What works even better than not paying it's echo, sacrifice it as a blocker, or attack with it and have it destroyed to play it twice a turn perhaps! If you really want to push the limits of this card use the two cards with Leyline Of Anticipation too, you'd be literally only limited by your mana!

Bunch of different styles are usefull with him:
- giving him haste gives you the possibility to attack and then let him die for 2 counters
- flashing him chumpblocks and gets you two +1/+1 counters
- you could blink him to avoid the echo costs and get some counters
- you could copy him with your favorite copy spells to get many counters
- doubling season (duh)
- just pay the friggin echo costs and you have a 5/4 for 6, which is ok, if that is the only creature you have on the battlefield
- use thick-skinned Goblin and you get a potential 5/4 for 3 mana! Or you distribute the counters the way you need it
- use him in a simic deck to give those creatures you want to have effects from the counters
- target enemy undying creatures to kill them safely off
- proliferate the counters
- eat him up with a devour creature (e.g. mycoloth) and give him the last counter
- Reset persist
