Doesn't it seem like an obvious idea for a duel deck, Urza v. Mishra? Brothers War duel decks!

This needs a creature type update. I want to cast these for 1 when I have a Dragonspeaker Shaman on the battlefield.

ACTUALLY- I read the Brothers' War novel, and I'm going to make a call in favor of not making it a Dragon.

Development-wise, it would only be helped, and not in a broken way- but ....

it just DOESN'T feel like a dragon. Not the way I read it. It feels more like...like a Zord.

Steel Hellkite? That's a dragon. It was actually born a dragon, made of metal, because that's how things work on Mirrodin. Mechanical doesn't mean non-living. I am fairly sure, based on power level, that this is NOT the Phyrexian Dragon-Machine that Mishra first captured, but the mockup his scientists invented later.

Consider: Not even 'big' Dragons of the era (like Shivan) are needed to show this is weak: A Dragon Whelp plainly shows that this is pathetic 'war machine', and THAT is an Alpha era uncommon card meant to be weak, which makes the comparison totally fair. So. This is not the Phyrexian Original. I'm no flavor guru, but I'm betting we'd get something closer ... (see all)

Maybe Draco is closer to what the dragon engines were like?
