It's cool that they incorperated the green and white in the art. A beautifully flavorful card.

Creepy art.
EDIT: Wimple, I think the guy is laying on the ground, dead. So it actually IS dripping down.

Great vs. human decks, but being at sorcery speed really hurts it

Good card. Don't maindeck it of course. Its a sideboard card through and through. I don't think instsant speed would have broke it though. 4*

The art is even better when you realize the pupil-tear is actually moving upwards.

Decent sideboard removal, albeit conditional...that said sorcery hurts this alot, but other 1 cost removal is either very conditional or has potentially severe drawbacks (Vendetta or Slaughter Pact) although personally I prefer Ghastly Demise since black has a pretty easy job of keeping it's graveyard full, and it's an instant. Also non-black can hit {R}{W}{U}{G}, whereas Deathmark can only hit {G}{W}

I love that some coldsnap cards have been able to survive outside of that set and are getting reprinted. Deathmark is a great choice, let alone that huge improvement in art.

A little cirumstantial, so it is a little less playable, but hey, great art.
