I was impressed with this card at the Prerelease. He was actually really easy to flip. Being so large and being a human was very relevant as well--I couldn't tap him down with Avacynian Priest or neutralize him with Bonds of Faith. The 2/2 body on its own is not a good deal for 4 mana, but he throws a wrench into the plans of any opponent who wants to trade with your guys. Curving into him is very good--just think on the play going random two-drop into random three-drop into this guy and swinging. How do they block profitably? If they chump, it's good for you. If they trade, it flips him and it's good for you. Even if they eat your guy, it still flips him, and they have to deal with a turn four 5/4 trampler. Or maybe all you do is hold your guys back, and now their attacks are just as bad as their blocks.
So if your board is a little developed already, he's the real deal. Of course, that means you need to have the kind of deck where you can co... (see all)

Comboing it with selfless cathar won me several games at the prerelease. Its easy to underestimate this guy but he pulled me out of some tight spots and I was never unhappy to draw him except the one game i only had red mana

It's a soldier and a white trampler, which means it will fit inside decks outside of Limited or Innistrad Human tribal.

Nice flavor, but otherwise, meh.

This card has a lot of potential especially with how easy it is to get one of your creatures into the grave in Innistrad. A great choice in limited and will surely fit in soldier tribal decks

My only concern is that his vigilance suggests to me he should be some form of aggro creature, whereas really you want to hold him back a little until something transforms, since by the time he turns up he could be easily killed by something big.
Mind, other creatures you have could be made to be a bigger threat, especially with the human artifacts. Your opponent will have to make some tough choices.
