Let's propose neat abilities for the vanilla creatures that get printed in each new core set. Who knows, a bored Wizards developer may happen upon one...

Creatures riding Siege Mastodon gain trample and attack each turn if able.

Soldier's Mount 1White (1White: Attach this creature to target Soldier creature you control. While attached, this creature cannot attack or block, and its activated abilities can't be activated. Mount only as a sorcery.)

I know trample is outside of its color.. but would it really hurt so much to do it when the flavor fits? I mean, it's not like Wizards haven't done it before. At least it would be nice to equip the Mastodon with a Greatsword knowing that it wouldn't simply get blocked by a Llanowar Elves...

Ahhhhh! It's returned. Sure I can understand the reasoning of this but to be printed three times in a row when clearly no one likes it? That's crazy, wizards could have at least created something a bit more interesting.
