Creature cards that are in graveyards are not creatures. Creature cards are only creatures while they're on the battlefield. Of course you could bounce your own creature from the battlefield to your own hand.

Could target creature be in your own graveyard and be put back into your own hand? Nothing I have found in rules says one can't target ones self.
