@ Infernox: This card has Luigi Syndrome: People expect more from things with affinity, even though this is still a very playable beater in its own right.

I find it interesting that this card has been reprinted in Planechase and now Duel Decks.
Yet the original only got 3.7 rating.
Is this some sort of unwanted staple? x3

Artifact affinity is one of the best abilities. This card demonstrates it's power beautifully.

I really hope this doesn't mean affinity is coming back in scars. There's already the strong possibility of a 1/1 artifact creature with 0 CMC.

Using only artifact lands you can get this guy out turn four if you do absolutely nothing else. Using an artifact deck however, it is quite likely he will come out turn three with mana to spare.
