This is seriously awesome, sometimes better than Sign in Blood for card advantage. You don't know frustration until you wear yourself out killing a Blightwidow and Phyrexian Juggernaut, and then see your opponent tap 1BB...
Also: not worse than Death's Duet, since you don't need to have two cards to return. If you have only one in the yard and need it back now, this'll be your expensive Disentomb.

This card won me games at the Prerelease. Myr Sire, Phyrexian Rager, and Nested Ghoul all worked great with it. You all are judging it way too harshly.

I love the artwork, but I'm not sure if I'd use this over Macabre Waltz. But I'm always a fan of two-for-one cards.

Death's Duet isn't as much better than this as y'all are crowing about. It's the same cost, it's only a little more restrictive in the color (one colored mana versus two) - but that's not a big deal since this isn't a card you cast early-game, so you shouldn't have a problem with 1BB anyhow. And as yesnomu pointed out, it's got that "up to two" clause, which could make it better if you really need that one creature back.
Also: Death's Duet isn't in Standard right now. So there's kinda a difference there.
In all the black Infect decks I've played that have this, it's really pulled its weight. Being able to get back a couple of dangerous threats when I'm at high poison counters can be game-winning, especially if I had to go all out just to kill them.

Wow, this is underrated, yeah sure there is one card in the history of magic that is strictly bettr BOO-hoo. With all the power creep that's been going on since Death's Duet, this is way better in standard and awesome in limited.

Not amazing, but a very serviceable option. I ended up with one in my mono-black deck just for the flexibility.

I love Macabre Waltz, but this one gives you legit card advantage.

Somehow it feels weak, but then when I think about it it"s actually good. The only problem I have with this card (the reason it's not in my mono-black standard deck at the moment) is that is helps you with card types of which it is not. So you in a creature-heavy deck you'd have to cut removal or something to justify it. If it was a creature too, I'd have to give it a four. I still think it"s great in the right deck.
