I've always said that the planar die was made wrong. Way too many blank faces. (My personal suggestion was that there should be a third symbol on the die: If you roll it then you may choose either planeswalk or chaos). This was an excellent idea!

If you guys think normal plane chase is too slow use two dice instead.
If you roll chaos and plane at the same time with 2 dice you chose which happens first, a bit of a gamble. If two planes, just do one after the other, and if the planes have when you planes walk to this or away effects they do trigger.
we play like this often, and we move through a lot more planes
