Kinda wish we had this when bouncing Jester's Scepter was all the rage...

I'd use it with cards like Sphinx Summoner, Filigree Angel, andSludge Strider. Get what you want, gain tons of life, slowly pinging people to death. Good fun.

Gotta love bouncing Contagion Clasp.
True that proliferating is useful on it's own but as far as the original content of the Tezzeret's deck goes, Clasp is one of the most efficient targets for the Esperzoa's "drawback". And nothing is stopping you from playing it again AND proliferating the same turn.

Sorta unforseen combo with Necrogen Censer, yeah it's not the fastest thing in the world, but you do get to consistently burn for 4 every turn for 3 mana in a very flexible set of colors. It may not be viable for modern, but it works scarily well for the casual kitchen table.
