Consistently pleasingly powerful and versatile.

I like it, but it costs a bit too much for me to feel comfortable playing it.
EDIT: never mind. Put together a monogreen deck after pulling two Primordial Hydra cards in boosters. This thing was wonderfully useful more than once, and in green it's easy to get the mana to play it. Much better than I was giving it credit for.

Replaces Creeping Mold as the staple green noncreature Vindicate effect. I like the change. The problem with Creeping Mold is that at four mana, too often it reads "Destroy target land".

@Scormio: there are exactly 5075 non-human creatures listed in gatherer at the moment. 925 of them have ETB triggers. They all combo with Mikaeus one way or another.

I am running a playset in mono green. Excellent card. Totally love it. I'm still working on my mana-ramp mono green, but these have become invaluable.

At first these things seem over costed but in draft this guy owns! Blow up their Oblivion Ring or something and then use it to chump block their big fatty. Solid 4/5

How the hell do you kill an enchantment with acid?
Also, anything big enough to dissolve an entire mountain or forest seems like it would be stronger than 2/2. Or maybe it comes from Segovia.
