Avacyn, Angel of Hope looks like she could use a sword to go with that Moonsilver Spear of hers.

This, plus the recently revealed and soon-to-be-released Avacyn, Angel of Hope = win.
Equip Avacyn with this thing, and you'll dominate.

Hilarious with Konda, Lord of Eiganjo.
If he gets blocked, he turns 8/8 and slaughters almost anything.
If he doesn't, explode the world.
I also like the idea of a Phylanctery Lich making this his phylanctery then swinging away.

I was thinking...
Young Wolf, Strangleroot Geist, Vorapede and maybe a Rancor

Oh Roc Egg, you so cute. I'd always prefer Predator Ooze though...

Seriously, not that hard to make a deck that massively ***es people off with this. Prototype Portal on artifact lands + some common mana artifacts, drop Darksteel Forge, then equip this on a Platinum Angel and swing away. They're (most likely) never coming back from that.

Purely for casual but I'm thinking R/B with cards like Goblin Arsonist , Magma Phoenix , and Caustic Hound . If you have enough of those cards onto the board wiping all of your permanents could be extremely bad for your opponent. It forces them into the position of trying to block or destroy whatever is holding that blade. Even if they kill the creature things like Goblin Arsonist and Caustic Hound are gonna splash them anyway and if its the Magma Phoenix there's a good chance all the rest of your bombs will blow anyway so that means they start blocking with creatures that can't kill Magma Phoenix which means you whittle down their forces anyway.
You pretty much force them to lose by putting them in the situation of definitely losing or playing safe enough to maybe not lose. I believe there can be a good strategy for nearly any card if you look hard enough. Even my precious and beloved Knowledge Pool /autoca... (see all)
