Rite of Replication. If you can't wish for more wishes, wish for more genies.

They just had to phase the Djinn of wishes out during the time of training grounds and Sphinx of Jwar Isle

No, it interacted badly with Scry.
And by "badly" I mean "hilariously".

He combos pretty good with Vengeful Pharaoh, whose weakness is that the opponent will know what you will be drawing when the Pharaoh get's topdecked . Use the Djinn's ability to save yourself one mana to cast the Pharaoh during upkeep, get him out, and also not mess up your draw.

What about using him in EDH/Commander? I'm just building my first EDH deck, but he seems like you could put him to some use in a format where games last longer and decks are filled with high-CMC bombs.
My Intet, the dreamer deck already has a lot of topdeck manipulation (duh, look who's the general) with stuff like Crystal Ball and recurring Halimar Depths and a lot of hideously fat spells to cheat into play.

Compared to Aerial Caravan:
• cheaper.
• +0/+1.
• For an extra , spells are free.
• Only works 3 times.

Loved this card in M10, glad to see it make a comeback, although it's a shame scry is gone. Still, Ponder will work too.
