This was actually given to him when he became artificer of Kroog, and he only took/wore it because it had powerstones in it.

You have to respect a guy who makes magical pope hats in his spare time.

I'm trying to imagine Urza using all this shit he makes at the same time; glasses, sunglasses, armor, chalice, blueprints, hot tub, miter.

This would be a decent card if it didn't have that way-too-high three-mana activation cost, or if it could be used with sacrificed artifacts. But the combination of those limitations makes it way too weak.

It's odd; early in Magic, they tended to significantly overprice any reusable source of card draws... yet they still printed Ancestral Recall.

damn that sacrifice clause.

Like the artwork. Don't like the card.

If mana-burn still existed, it could be used as a mana sink for extra Urzatron mana.

Hat reminds me of the space pope from Futurama. Would be absolutely nuts without that sacrificing clause.

"Does Urza wear a funny hat?" -Elvish phrase meaning "of course".
