look more carefully at the card if you can find a copy- that's not a lightsaber (well duh), but it's not even a glowing rapier or anything that would look like a lightsaber close up.
the wizard is holding a SCROLL and there's a ray of light emanating from it.
there aren't a very many cards that I would recommend sniping online for actual common and uncommon prices (between .10 and .25 cents), bulk is usually the way to go.
This card isn't exactly unique but it's still pretty special and could be worth a whole quarter to the right Commander deck. White and Green actually infrequently Still get Land Destruction today, but usually it's either under the 'permanent' heading, or it's an Armageddon-effect.
This is precision-Land hunting at a sleek mana cost with a blocker attached. Very good answer to non-basics, of course, and I could definitely justify targeting a basic land against a 5-color deck. Most likely a 3-color Commander deck just isn't going to care if ... (see all)

While this is the 'wrong colour' for land destruction, the fact is most LD cards are 3 mana, and this is essentially 2 mana for a 1/4 and a 3 mana for the kicker
Use sparingly in green/white decks which can use a bit of the utility this provides
