Many players do not realize that regenerating taps a creature. Normally, this does not make a ton of difference - because people seldom aim kill spells at creatures that will regenerate out of them, most regeneration happens in combat. Normally in these cases, the fact that regenerating taps the creature doesn't matter too much. If you attacked with the creature, were blocked, and are now regenerating, your guy is tapped from attacking anyway. If you're regenerating after blocking, it doesn't matter that your guy is tapped because he'll be untapped before it's likely to matter.
Charging Troll has vigilance. If it attacks, is blocked, and regenerates, it cannot play defense during your opponents turn.
The design team needed to put a few more hours into this one.

They kinda reprinted this, but...one power higher. Cudgel Troll. Although you can cast Shield of the Oversoul on this, to make it slightly more powerful...
