This art looks to be the inspiration of the art for Teferi in creature form: Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir.

Cool card. Works well with Siren's Call. The Phyrexian symbol is a nice touch.

I don't get this flavor text.

Usually, the flavor text is there to tell you just how awesome the card is, but this seems to be questioning the card. What gives?

darkest hour will get the job done for 1 mana, you would need to splash for it though.
