This was printed to stop Rishadan Port. It was pretty good at it.

Gerrard has a funny face in this. He's all like "YEEAYYUH"

Arguably better than Kaleidestone or Elsewhere flask in open the vaults/Time sieve combo.

Is it just me, or is this card art clearly the cover of some cheesy direct to DVD movie?

I put the cards sometimes in some decks, it ain't that bad. Costs just two mana and draws you a card. It hoses man-lands, storage-lands, cycle-lands and a whole lot of other ones.

Kind of funky for something good by itself to have a cantrip.

Great for handling those annoying maze of iths in EDH!

Easily a dead card, but as said before its main use back then was to stop Rishadan Port.

But it can also find use against manlands (Mishra's Factory, Mutavault, Faerie Conclave, Treetop Village... you name it), Maze of Ith, and Arena or Contested Cliffs.

...i guess mentioning Sorrow's Path isn't worth it, right? :D

hmm, funny thought if only there was a way to give opponents lands an activated ability that doesn't produce mana, the only thing i can think of that does that is koth of the hammer who would only be good if your screwing over someone you play against alot thus is kind of a dick move
