I Love The Flavor

Underground Sea, Creeping Tar Pit, Drowned Catacomb, Arcane Sanctum, Crumbling Necropolis Jwar Isle Refuge and Frost Marsh are all strictly better than this card. Having said that, this card is also older than any of them (except the sea) and I must admit that I used it in my day. It is good for people who can't afford some of the better options.

There are other cards much better than this. Jwar Isle Refuge and Drowned Catacomb come to mind.

Mosquitoes kill more people than any other animal on earth.

Its great, for an uncommon dual land.

Since its printing better dual lands have come out. Enough of them that I don't think this even has a place in EDH much. There are no shortage of dual land options for /. Some of those options are also uncommon.

@Ace
I don't get your point. Would you rather have a mediocre uncommon dual land or a good rare dual land?
All the best dual lands, whatever their rarity may be, have always given some out that prevent them from coming into the play tapped. The fact that this comes into play tapped no matter what makes it completely unplayable in eternal formats with so many better alternatives available.
This land is not even playable in Pauper, cause its uncommon!
3/5 (would be 1/5, but I refuse to give any card from Invasion less than 3/5)

But the flavor is wrong, mosquitos breed in stagnant water and they are nuisance but not death.
