this is essentially creature removal on legs with minimal maintenance required. Three hits from this guy will cause your opponent to die, and likely two if you have other creatures as well. His power is high enough that most blockers will die and if something blocks it and survives it will likely not survive the next time.

Limited: Definitely yes.
Constructed: Definitely no.

Doesn't quite feel like a Nim without the +1/+0 bonus for each artifact you control.
I can even clearly see his Cranial Plating on his head...
Oh well, i guess enhanced phyrexian roving killers don't need that power bonus to be lethal, huh?

Would be 4.5/5 if just one of those {B} were {P}.

If you think of this as 4BB for an 8/1 with regenerate for B, is it playable in constructed? Seems on the weak-side but I wouldn't rule it out...

You guys don't rate this high enough. So here's the card in action in my mono-black:
I'm at 6 mana, with a Cemetery Reaper already in play I dropped a Lashwrithe
Two turns latter, I drop my Toxic Nim and because I'm now at 8 mana, I equip it with the Lashwrithe.
Due to Cemetary Reaper's ability, my Nim becomes a 12/9 with regenerate and Infect, and for a cost of 3 mana, it will be restored to its glorious 12/9 self.
(edit: should it be killed that turn or the next)
And remember: poison counter rule: 10 counters = you loose. 15 = your team looses.
