Agreed, worst titan. Interesting this is, this is the only titan that doesn't give you card advantage in titan cycle with card advantage color(aka blue). Grave titan, two 2/2 zombies; primeval titan, two lands; sun titan, a card from graveyard; inferno titan, eh, 3 damage from the beginning and possible death of a creature; but frost titan and tapping a permanent? Meh...

It's rated below a 4 because it deserves to be below a 4. Titans are huge targets. The sun, grave and primeval titans are so ridiculously powerful because they provide immediate card advantage before the opponent has time to kill it, and the inferno titan is likely to kill a creature or two when it comes in. Frost titan...nothing. Tap a permanent? Whoop-dee-doo. The extra two mana it takes to cast oblivion ring, doom blade or go for the throat is completely negligible. This IS the worst titan based on the fact that it provides zero card advantage (unlike the other 4). LSV even went so far as to call this titan unplayable.

3.5/5 Has anyone at wizards considered replacing the first ability with Hexproof? it would save so much time and effort. Overall the ability to Freeze a permanent for 2 turns is incredible. But I would almost consider his Frost breath ability to be more relevant.
Weakest of the Titans but in my imagination he could've been so much better if:
Frost Titan UU4
Hexproof
When Frost Titan enters the battlefield or attacks tap up to 2 target permanents.
6/6
Yeah, then Frost Titan would be spectacular, very close to being unblockable.

Why didn't they just give him hexproof? That first ability doesn't seem good enough for a titan

what?! blue's titan is this awful?
the only good thing in this thing is being a 6/6 for 6...the tap tap thing is not really that big thing for me...better use an Icy Manipulator

Look for a re-print coming in Theros. Titans redone w/ greek mythos art.
Couldn't click rating, 4/5 card.

Got 3 of this on my deck right now...gives me more control over my opponent...LEYLINE OF THE VOID+MIST OF STAGNATION + SCALPELEXIS as the main pieces of my deck...makes my opponents surrender and beg for mercy...lol

6/6 makes him tough, and the Lcok-Down is, well....
If you've played StarCraft:BroodWar, you'd know how irritaing it is when the most crucial permanent you need keeps getting 'deactivated'.
