"Every primitive mind has a motive. Easy to find, and eminently exploitable."

In the case of this hulking monstrosity, the motive is found in the form of "Ooooohhh, shiny....."

Control Magic with a 21st century casting cost. Classic blue shenanigans

"I'll take that, thanks."

This card can win games. Opponent has a Titan out? "Mine"
It both serves as removal and deploys a creature for you. Given that it can swing games, I'd say its appropriately priced.

@Bonghoots: You do realize that all Auras implicitly target? If this were an ordinary enchantment and not an aura, then you would be correct. But because it's an aura, it can't do anything about Hexproof.

The person in the flavor text, Noyan Dar, Tazeem Lullmage, is the same person who provides the flavor text for the following Zendikar block cards: Deprive, Fleeting Distraction, Lodestone Golem, Mindbreak Trap, Narcolepsy and Spell Pierce.

I guess Noyan survived the Eldrazi.

So, here's a question.
If I were to Mind Control a creature, then turn Mind Control into an artifact with Memnarch, then turn Mind Control into a 5/5 Golem with Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas, then Cackling Counterpart it, and hit the token with Populate, would I put the new Mind Control token onto another creature?

Glad they kept the M11 art, and even more glad they replaced the M11 flavor text. Somehow I can't imagine anyone, even Jace, speaking using a colon.

Opponent: I summon Phyrexian Obliterator.
Me: Oh yay!
Opponent: What?
Me: Mind Control
