Meh, I put one in my Edric, Spymaster of Trest EDH for the lols. Nothing like making both my Overbeing of Myth and a cloned Blightsteel Colossus punch through and knock off two players late game. Leaves plenty of mana open for counterspells and such as well.
But yeah, hard to find a spot for it in a normal deck. There are too many better, more efficient options.

I believe this will see much more play in modern now as it can activate two heroic triggers at once making it more viable. I've run it targeting centaur battlemasters to entertaining effect.
