mmmm, the art is awfully similar (on a rapid pass, based solely on color scheme) to Strangleroot Geist. I'm going to be frequently disappointed shuffling through the cheap bin at my local card shop.

It's a 3/3 blocker and a 5/5 attacker for 5.

On your turn, its better than Spined Wurm
I was actually a bit surprised to see that there are almost no common 5/5 for 4G green cards... I guess this is, therefore, as good as many other awful green vanilla creatures, but only on your turn. Otherwise, even durkwood boars outclasses it

How about it gets +2/+2 just because you paid 5 damn mana for it?

Me when this card is on the field:
"It's my turn! It gets a boost! Yay!"
"oh, it's your turn... it loses the boost... aww..."
"yay!"
"aww..."
"yay!"
"aww..."
"yay!"
"aww..."
"yay!"
"aww..."
"yay!"
"aww..."...
and so on and so on...

I'm fairly certain a 5/5 for 4G without any drawbacks wouldn't have been too overpowered--especially since in the previous set Hollowhenge Beast, a 5/5 for 3GG, was printed and saw little play outside of Limited. I just see no reason whatsoever to give this card such a harsh drawback.

I think somebody forget to add the undying on this one, R&D should be notified immediately.

This lets you see the actual edge of common green creatures. {3}{G}{G} for 5/5, {4}{G} gets you a 5/4, or a part-time 5/5.
