Seriously, when you played it, did you ever find try to beat it without partners? As in, it was you, and the other three survivors died? It's impossible!
I suppose that's what's here: This guy knows how to deal with Zombies well, but he needs someone else to cover his back, in case a Charger starts pummelling him.

It's so funny that Avacyn Restored has so much Zombie Hate, because there's only like five in the set. Even less of them that are actually playable.
Sheer sideboard material, and near useless unless you opened a bunch of flowering lumberknots in your sealed packs.

For fun Soulbond him with a Zombie.. I don't think Protection covers soulbonding does it? Ironically dies to becoming a Z via Ghoulflesh.
