Seems kind of expensive at first glance, but he grows FAST. Helped win me more than a few games at pre-release. Pair him with Silverblade Paladin for extra goodness.

So, what happens when you combine Stromkirk Patrol and an unprotected Lumberknot? You get a pretty smexy vampire.
So many aspects of this card make me want to get 30 of them. I've never felt so good about a non-rare (or mythic) in the Innistrad block since Shimmering Grotto.
No doubt will I consider adding him to a vampire deck. 4.5/5.
