Wrong. Progenitus never hits the graveyard. It has a replacement effect that prevents it from ever reaching that zone.

True dat. However, Cremate will stop Dumbrakul and his buddies, as well as the Lorwyn elemental incarnations like Guile.

A useful sideboard card that can be mainboarded simply because it effectively has Cycling: B.
