@fanofmagic: How often do you play lands during your upkeep?
I do agree with Cloudchaser.Kestrel, though, this card is awesome with Ruin Ghost. And the combination of Ruin Ghost to flicker it at the right time and Concerted Effort to distribute its effect is even more so.

This is really good for a Knight of the Reliquary deck for the instant protection (effectively counters a kill spell).

Not bad. It's free protection like iSlapTrees said. And after that it still counts as a land. Plus I love the artwork. You can see people running for protection underneath the slab of land in the bottom right.

Walking Atlas, Sakura-Tribe Scout, or Budoka Gardener can put it into play at instant speed. Knight of the Reliquary can even get it from your library.

Play with another protection granting card for unblockability AND removal bounce.

@fanofmagic and @RunedServitor: that is actually possible to pull off by responding to the upkeep trigger of Concerted Effort by using a Knight of the Reliquary to put Sejiri Steppe into play. Quite situational though.
