I like putting it on things that have no business wearing a hood. Boy, that Geistcatcher's Rig sure is scarier with a little piece of cloth on it, isn't it?

Now all we need is a chainsaw equip...
Or maybe Warlord's Axe works too?

It's what's below the belt that's intimidating...

Not too bad for helping your top-heavy vampires and werewolves through, and being an equip makes it way better than Gruesome Deformity

It's certainly no Whispersilk Cloak and the art definitely could be improved upon. However, it will probably see play in limited--but what won't?

Why so much hate on majinara's comment? Four mana for conditional evasion indeed sucks.

So yeah, this is simply some sort of Fear in equipment form,
except that it gets more awesome on colorless creatures and less awesome on multicolored ones.

But compared to Whispersilk Cloak or Cloak of Mists you feel like either the equip or the casting cost could have been lowered to 1. (In the latter case it could have been interesting with Trinket Mage or the like.)

But yeah we didn't get a cloak, we just got a hood.
And not a particularly intimidating one regarding playability :P

More like "Irritation". In a release draft, I got passed 2 of these dead last. Since I was short on my main colors (red/green) I had to put in 3... thinking my werewolves would get some decent use out of them, this didn't seem too bad...

I was wrong. I got 1 every single game, and although once it saved my arse and won me a match, the rest of the time it was just dead weight. In my very last match, I had one in my opening hand, 1 for my turn two draw, and drew the third the following turn. Even with 3 of these equipped, my opponent was hardly scared. CARD DESIGN FAIL.

EDIT: I did have some fun when I declared I was "triple hooding that S***!" and equipped all 3 hoods on a creature. That at least got a laugh. But still, no one was scared. False advertising. 1/5

If you absolutely need evasion in an off color I guess this works. Come to think of it there really isn't much intimidate in the set full of scary crap.
