He's not all THAT hard to play. Artful Dodge or Invisible Stalker (ESPECIALLY Stalker) gets him through easily.

I love how well this card works in blue/black decks. Both colors have a lot of flying and unblockable. I personally swapped out the Stromkirk Nobles for Tormented Souls in my Vampire deck, just so I could run this singleton as a spare win condition. Surprises a lot of control decks who don't take care of Tormented Soul early, and instead take out the flying vamps.

I really wish they'd given him a different ability than intimidate. Lifelink? Sure, it'd be crazy, but you already need to jump through a half dozen hoops to get him out, anyway

Great card for multiplayer. Those formats tend to be slow enough to get the dagger out and swing with it. Baring combo shenanigans and whatnot, he will most likely be the biggest thing on the board with 3 forms of evasion. And when someone loses he gets twice as big.

Though I recommend playing with colors that can protect him when he is unleashed. WhiteBlueGreen fit that bill.
