Remember to attack with this before you drop Gulf Squid.

And actually the new mana burn rule made this way better. If you can make your opponent to tap out before attack, just so that they can block this, kudos to you.

No. Xantid Swarm is good against control. One damage isn't going to scare anyone's life total.
