Elvish piper/trusted advisior is good, splitter twin is earier, but you are missing the easy one.
Soul foundry.

Can be done in monoblue, tinkered into if you're that way inclined, and best yet, nets you a huge army of squids to finish your foe with.

3/5 noramlly,
6/5 wtih foundary,
bonus points for flavour text.

Cloudshift, Momentary Blink, Ghostly Flicker...I'd say there are several ways to make a proper several Mana Shorts out of this.

Pretty effective when combined with Winter Orb and Kismet.

I use it as a lock down with Elvish Piper to plop it down during my opponent's upkeep and Trusted Advisor to return it to my hand every turn. Plaxmanta, Coiling Oracle, Mystic Snake and Sage of Epityr round out the deck. Teferi doesn't hurt either.

The art and flavor text are great, but I've never found a use for it. Shame, I do like squids.

Fun in a Psychic Venom deck. Not that those exist anymore, but still...

They should modify the creature type so that it works with Quest for ula's temple, not that I'd want to use it in an ula's temple deck but still, just bothers me that this thing slips through the cracks by being a squid.

Gatherer works better in the Companion app!
